THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR SERVICE MEMBERS ON ACTIVE DUTY ORDERS ONLY.

In conjunction with our partners SkillStorm, we are opening up applications for a cohort to start on September 23, 2024 and November 18, 2024 that will train you to be a Cloud Programmer.

This internship ultimately will develop you to be an AWS Solutions Architect.

The SkillBridge internship element is 12 weeks.
Followed by 12 weeks of paid training. You will be trained on AWS/DevOps.
Both the internship and training are remote.
You will then be deployed to a GovCon client onsite either in San Antonio, TX or the DC Metro area.
A 2-year contract is signed on the 10th day of paid training.

Key Responsibilities

The SkillBridge internship and training are 40 hours per week and structured like a remote job.
Except for mandatory VA/out processing appointments, no PTO can be taken during this time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

No IT experience is necessary however you must have a technical aptitude and know your way around a computer.
You must have a TS Clearance.
You must have the ability to start an internship on September 23, 2024 or November 11, 2024 and have 12 weeks of internship eligibility thereafter. This is non-negotiable.
You must be prepared to move to San Antonio or the DC Metro area after the paid training ends.

The HireMilitary DoD SkillBridge / Career Skills Program (CSP) Internship is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29 as enacted by 10 U.S.C. Sec 1143. Eligibility is restricted to members of the U.S. Armed Forces separating honorably with greater than 180 days of continuous Active Duty. SkillBridge/CSP period of eligibility is within the final 180 days of Active Duty service, and the SkillBridge/CSP must be completed prior to separation from Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces. HireMilitary DoD SkillBridge/CSP is open to members of all services, and all ranks and experience levels. Service members should fully review SkillBridge/CSP Position Description for individual opportunity requirements and qualifications.

SkillBridge participants participate in full time training with industry (40 hour work week) under military orders and are not eligible for compensation from HireMilitary or it’s partner host employers but will continue to receive all military wages and benefits for the period of the DoD SkillBridge/CSP enrollment.

DoD SkillBridge/CSP is fully compliant with FLSA, DBA, SCA, CSHSSA and all other pertinent Federal and State labor laws.
